This project saw a rocky road to production, with scripts being scrapped and ideas reimagined on almost zero turnaround time; until we finally had a complete script. Roshan and I spent long days imagining the visual world of the protagonist, and how to realise those in accordance with the story. Conforming to the psychological thriller genre, the photography of this film is unpredictable, deliberately disjointed and allows the audience to experience every moment exactly as Raj does. On the shoot, I ran the entire photography department on my own, rigging all the lights, operating the camera and setting up shots exactly as we had planned and recced.
